What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a mind/body treatment approach for a variety of mental, physical and emotional issues. Clients are hypnotized during session allowing them to easier access their subconscious mind and to make changes that are more profound than with traditional talk therapy.

What is it like to be hypnotized?

Hypnosis is simply a very deep relaxed state. While you are under hypnosis you will be in full control over what you say and what we talk about. You will remember everything that happens and will also have a full range of emotions.

Can anyone be hypnotized?

Yes! All hypnosis is self hypnosis. This means that the process of being hypnotized must be completely consensual or it will not work. Some people are easily hypnotized and able to engage in the process. Others might require more time to become comfortable with me and the experience.

What are the benefits of hypnotherapy?

When you are under hypnosis, many of your conscious and unconscious defenses are down. You feel less inhibited to speak and you are more greatly connected to your mind and body. Imagine that your inner self is normally covered up with patchy fog. On a normal day, you don’t have the ability to full see and grasp what inner workings are impacting your mood and behavior. When you are under hypnosis, much of that fog is cleared away. This allows you to make deeper connections and have more impactful healing.
